The gate you actually walk through
Most of the iron we build for a home is not the whole fence line, it is the gate and the fence panel someone actually walks through every day. A pedestrian gate off the driveway, a pool enclosure that has to meet the opening exactly, a courtyard or a front garden fence that sits where the neighbors and the mail carrier see it first. We fabricate it in our own shop with twisted pickets, forged finials and arched tops, and when the rest of your fence is cedar, we build the iron section to match that run rather than leave a mismatched panel bolted onto the end of it.
A quieter kind of ironwork
Residential iron does not need to look institutional to do its job. The same scrollwork and forged finials that go into a shop-built gate can sit warm against a cedar fence, a stone column or a flagstone path, and it still holds the opening as securely as anything we build for a commercial site. We will walk your fence line with you and talk through where iron makes sense and where cedar or chain link does the job just as well for less.

Custom iron or Ameristar, side by side
If your gate calls for hand-forged scrollwork, a stone column with keypad access, or an arched drive gate framed in iron, that is shop built work like the pieces above. If it does not, our Ameristar fencing is worth a look before you pay for a custom build.
