Custom Ironwork, When It Is Not A Fence At All
Mailboxes, Vent-A-Hood products, signs, Juliet balconies, bridge railings, iron furniture. The same shop that fabricates a fence gate can usually draw it, detail it in AutoCAD, and build it.
The same shop, a different kind of order
A fence gate and a piece of custom metal come out of the same eight capabilities: weld, bend, roll, hammer, forge, punch, shear and press. Custom metal creations, mailboxes, Vent-A-Hood products, signs, Juliet balconies and bridge railings all pass through our shop the same way a fence panel does, drawn first, then shaped, then finished. If it can be sketched, we can usually detail it in AutoCAD and put it in steel.
Iron furniture and one-off pieces
Some of what leaves our shop never becomes part of a fence line at all. We build iron furniture and standalone pieces to a customer's own idea, the same way we would detail a gate: drawn first, then fabricated to that drawing rather than adapted from a stock part number.

One off fabrication, not a catalogue part
A monogram is just another drawing in steel.
Some of the most demanding pieces we have built were never meant to hold up a fence line at all. A cut steel interlocking monogram and a pair of team flags fabricated flat from sheet steel, shown below, use the exact same shop process as a gate: a drawing, then steel shaped and welded to match it. These are examples of our own completed fabrication work for a customer, not a university endorsement of Cook's.
If it can be drawn, it can usually be built.
